Conformity Secures Series A Funding

We're excited to pass along the good news that we've recently closed on our first round of institutional funding with Guggenheim Venture Partners.  The Series A funding will help us to accelerate our product development efforts, expand sales and marketing, and help us deliver on our vision for governance and management of SaaS and cloud-centric environments.  We're excited to be working with the Guggenheim team, and want to thank both them and our seed investors for their continued support for Conformity and our vision!

Conformity Gains AppExchange Certification

We're also excited to announce that Conformity is now a certified salesforce.com AppExchange partner.  To receive certification, the early access release of Conformity's SaaS management service was evaluated to ensure compliance with salesforce.com's security standards and requirements.  Conformity's solution leverages integrations with Force.com to provide organizations the ability to centrally manage their Salesforce users through the Conformity platform.  You can visit our AppExchange listing here.

SaaS and Federated Provisioning

The economic downturn is accelerating interest in and adoption of SaaS due to its financial as well as operational benefits.  As a result more organizations are being faced with challenges around how to integrate SaaS and cloud-based applications into their existing IT management processes. 

One of the topics that has gained recent attention is how to most effectively manage the provisioning of users across multiple SaaS applications in a given environment, and the role that open standards at SAML and SPML could and should play.
