Tom Smith

Chief Executive Officer
Tom has over 28-years of experience in executive management, enterprise sales and marketing, and strategic execution that includes founding executive roles at four software and technology businesses.

Before joining Conformity, Tom was CEO of Countermind where he drove the go-to-market strategy and grew the privately funded software company to a leadership position within the mobile logistics space. Prior, Tom was one of three founding executives of venture capital backed @hand and was responsible for managing all sales, marketing, and business development. Before that, Tom held senior sales and alliance roles at Rational Software, Dazel Corporation and Hewlett-Packard.

Tom received a bachelor’s of science degree in computer science from Iowa State University.

Tom Bishop

Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Technology Officer, Tom is responsible for overall technology vision and strategy at Conformity. Tom is a recognized and award-winning CTO, and brings over 30 years of experience in senior technology and strategy roles at a variety of pioneering systems management solution vendors.

Prior to Conformity, Tom was VP of Engineering at Storspeed, a leading storage solutions vendor. Before that he was Chief Technology Officer at BMC Software, where he was responsible for product vision and direction. Tom served as Chief Technology Officer at VIEO, Inc, where he was named “Chief Technology Officer of the Year” by InfoWorld magazine in 2004. Before that, he was Chief Technology Officer at Tivoli and later IBM-Tivoli. Tom began his career at Bell Labs. He holds nine patents in fault-tolerant and distributed computing and led the development of such industry standards as the DMTF’s CIM, the CMDB federation specification, and POSIX.

Tom holds BS and MS degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University.

Roy Kipp

Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer Roy is responsible for internal operations, production deployment support and infrastructure.   Roy has over 20 years of experience in software development, including operating systems, network management, security systems and web-based applications.

Most recently, Roy was VP Engineering & Advanced Technology at Mirage Networks, a provider of network security and access control software. Prior, he was co-founder and CTO at Works.com, a provider of web-based purchasing workflow management solutions for large corporations and institutions. In addition, Roy has also held senior and software architect roles at PeerLogic, Pervasive Software and Texas Instruments.

Roy holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.

Rich Pusateri

Vice President of Engineering
As Vice President of Engineering and member of the Conformity founding team, Rich oversees development, quality assurance and IT operations for Conformity. Rich has 20 years experience in commercial software development, including over 10 years delivering business applications via Internet and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) models.

Before joining Conformity, Rich served as the VP of Engineering at QuickArrow, a leading SaaS Professional Services Automation solution provider. Prior, Rich was a co-founder and the VP of Engineering at Public Mind, an on-demand provider of self-service and knowledge base solutions. Rich was the first employee and Development Director at Works.com, and also has held positions at SMART Technologies, HAL Computer Systems, KnowledgeSet and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company.

Rich holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
